The drawing titled “Stairs, Walls, and Corridor” depicts fundamental spatial elements that, while appearing as distinct entities on the canvas, unite harmoniously within a 3D spatial context. Employing various shades of purple, I symbolize the enfilade of space. Employing the classic one-point perspective, the artwork facilitates an understanding of spatial relationships, yet the uniform purple hue introduces an intriguing ambiguity to the space. This ambiguity challenges the viewer to explore the nuanced interplay between these basic elements, revealing a dynamic tension between their independence and their collective contribution to the overall spatial composition.
