Green Wall is a monumental green canvas installed on a section of an urban city wall, transforming a historic surface into a visual field of collective memory and ecological transition. A vertical color gradient shifting from yellow to green symbolizes movement from environmental vulnerability toward regeneration.
An unwritten poem, formed by blank squares in place of Chinese characters, introduces shared space for interpretation and imagination, emphasizing climate futures as collectively shaped. Falling red pigment traces mark time, movement, and human presence, visualizing how small individual actions accumulate into collective impact.
Reimagining the city wall as ecological infrastructure, Green Wall transforms a symbol of defense into a shared surface of environmental responsibility, solidarity, and collective power.
